Geng Chen

I am a second-year M.S. student in ECE at UC San Diego working with Prof.Xiaolong Wang. Previously, I was a research assistant with Prof.Yang Gao at Tsinghua University. I received my B.Eng. in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, advised by Prof. Yunbo Wang. I was also fortunate to do research at Stanford University, advised by Prof.Jiajun Wu.

Research

My long-term goal is to build embodied generalist agents that can acquire skills continually and adaptively and compose the learned skills to solve complicated long-horizon tasks. Towards this goal, I'm doing research at the intersection of robotics, computer vision, and machine learning. Recently, I'm interested in (humanoid) manipulation, learning from humans, and robot foundation models.
